the Mandala Collective Presents
Sankirtan is a form of devotional singing from the Bhakti (Yoga of the Heart) tradition of India, done in an ecstatic and meditative call and response style. Singing and dancing have long been sacred healing practices used to awaken to the vibrancy of one’s life force, a way to connect us to spirit and a method to become fully embodied in our connection to the Divine force that sustains all life. This ancient devotional practice invites the Divine to become present wherever the sacred names are spoken, filling the space with an almost intoxicating vibration of unconditional love and ecstatic bliss!
Joining together in Sankirtan is a soulful experience of ecstatic music, chanting, dancing, meditation and prayer that creates a sacred space for connection, celebration and overflowing LOVE! Experience the powerful unifying and healing vibrations of this sacred practice that dives deep into the nectar of the heart, connecting us to our most expansive, vibrant, raw and blissful state of being.

Join us in College Green Park in Iowa City for Kirtan and Drum Circle. Let’s sing, dance, drum, and share all that our hearts are yearning to express.
Feel free to bring any instrument or noise maker you might like to play, I will provide a few drums & shakers.
**Please also be mindful that we are still in a pandemic, so let us practice mindfulness in our interactions and in wearing appropriate protective gear. If not for your own safety, then at least in consideration of the other people in attendance.**
Our intention is to hold space to share in Sankirtan and Satsang every Friday, but please refer to the below schedule for any days where this schedule may be interrupted.
Many of our events are done on a donation basis, so if you would like to support these and future endeavors, please feel free to donate below, but ultimately we just love sharing these wonderful offerings with all of you!
Thank you guys so much and I look forward to sharing in this time together. Much love.
