the Mandala Collective Presents
Willow Pogue
Willow Pogue
Meditation Guide, Reiki Master-Teacher, Yoga Teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist
Willow’s life is a quest for understanding, a journey of awakening, an unfoldment of healing, a movement of empowerment, an expression of joy – and she wants you to be a part of it.
Willow is both inspired by and devoted to the practices of meditation, yoga, and energy healing. Through these profound practices, one begins to clear away the misconceptions they have acquired about themselves and the world around them. As their vision clears, they recognize that everything they need already lies within them! The potential for limitless joy, boundless love, and deep peace exists completely within each person – their potency accessible only to the extent that they are realized.
Willow loves to share in this journey alongside others and create an ecosystem of mutual support, uplifting all who are involved. She established the Mandala Collective in Salida, Colorado – a space for meditation, yoga, healing, community, and creativity – where she offers individual sessions and group classes. She also co-founded Twin Moon Transformational Arts, where she leads Yoga Retreats, Meditation Immersions & Reiki Trainings.
Meditation
The true power of meditation comes not from its study, but from its embodiment. Willow steeps herself in meditation as a daily practice, in addition to deepening her understanding through annual silent retreats and studying directly under her teachers Pujari and Abhilasha in Utah.
Energy Healing
Willow specialized in Energy Healing throughout her Integrative Massage Therapy education and dove even deeper after completing the program. She studied Usui-Tibetan Reiki, Holy Fire Reiki, and intuitive energy healing under her teacher Mary Thompson in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, eventually becoming a Certified Reiki Master-Teacher herself. Willow’s energy healing has also been informed by her experiences with the ancient Tantric lineage ShivYog and other timeless wisdom traditions, including yogic and meditative perspectives.
Yoga
Willow is currently enrolled in a 200-Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training taught by Samantha Kollasch, co-owner of Bliss Yoga Studio in North Liberty, Iowa. She also studies under world-renowned Yogarupa Rod Stryker and is progressing through his advanced 300-Hour ParaYoga Master Training Certification Program.
Massage Therapy
Willow graduated from the 1000-hour Advanced Massage Therapy Training Program at East-West School of Integrative Healing Arts in 2016, focusing her studies on Swedish Massage, Shiatsu Bodywork, and Energy Healing. She individually apprenticed under Dede Dancing, renowned Massage Therapist and owner of Dancing Prairie Massage Therapy College, to further master the art of therapeutic massage. Willow has supervised and instructed students at several massage therapy schools, including East-West and Dancing Prairie.
Contemporary Sciences
Willow is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology in order to better understand and integrate the cutting-edge perspectives of modern science with her knowledge of meditation and ancient wisdom.
